Tytus: in ascolto “The Dark Wave” dal prossimo album Rain After Drought

I Tytus sono entrati nel nostro radar sin dal debutto White Lines e, a seguire, con il primo album Rises, merito della loro declinazione del verbo metal che avevamo definito al tempo “diretto e veloce in puro stile anni Ottanta, dove a fianco delle più immediate reminiscenze NWOBHM appaiono legami con le prime compagini speed e power a stelle e strisce”. Le cose non cambiano con questo succoso antipasto del loro secondo album, Rain After Drought, in uscita ad inizio gennaio 2019 per la Fighter Records, costola della spagnola Xtreem Music e dedita alle sonorità hard’n’heavy. Il brano è un up-tempo con il piglio dell’anthem che prosegue la strada intrapresa dalla band e riporta sulla mappa sonorità al contempo potenti e capaci di inglobare melodie di chitarra accattivanti, riff taglienti e cori che non faticano ad entrare in testa sin dal primo ascolto. A questo punto non resta che attendere il menù completo, l’appetito è stato stuzzicato a dovere.
