PONTIAK, Innocence

Pontiak  - Innocence

Sarà il fisico, sarà un’innata magia, ma i Pontiak vanno di grandi dischi in grandi dischi anche quando ritornano al passato e si rendono ancora più vintage che in Echo-Ono. Un po’ come nel caso degli ultimi Arbouretum, le sperimentazioni e i viaggioni interstellari restano ai box. Protagoniste le chitarre, un pugno di melodie stratosferiche (dalla magia Lennon di “Darkness Is Coming” ai sogni acustici di “Noble Heads” e “Wildfires”) e riff su riff dalla potenza stoner, ma che guardano senza remora alcuna al rock classico. Canzoni proprio, pezzi, come testimonia anche la durata del disco: nessun pastone dal minutaggio anabolizzato, di poco è superata la soglia dei tre minuti. Sa davvero d’innocenza il nuovo disco dei Pontiak (magari non vergine e del tutto sincera), di certa purezza elettrica che inebria e cattura.
