I Nekrofilth sono maleducati e disgustosi. Sono l’equivalente di “Cannibal Ferox” a una rassegna sulla Nouvelle Vague. O di un topo morto al pranzo di Natale coi parenti. I titoli delle canzoni parlano chiaro, ma l’approccio sguaiato è identico nella musica. Una specie di death/thrash minimale con forti influenze hc/punk che fa venire in mente i Genocide (pre-Repulsion), i Deathstrike e soprattutto gli Slaughter canadesi. Quindi anche Venom (dei quali coverizzano “Poison”) e primi Celtic Frost rientrano nelle influenze, violentati, però, da un pazzo furioso armato di motosega e interiora bovine putrefatte nelle tasche. In questa violenta frenesia il disco finisce in un secondo e, si parva licet, a me rimane solo la voglia di riascoltarlo. Nel gruppo suonano Zack, chitarra dei Nunslaughter per tanti anni, e Justin e Mike dei Weaponizer. Garantito.
