Murcof, il video di “Underwater Lament”, tratto dall’imminente The Alias Sessions

The Alias Sessions è il primo album solista di Murcof (Fernando Corona, compositore elettronico messicano famoso per capolavori degli anni Zero come Martes e Cosmos) per Leaf Label in 13 anni. Esce il 9 aprile, ma è anticipato dal singolo e video “Underwater Lament”.

Murcof ha iniziato a lavorare alle due parti del disco nel 2017 dopo l’incontro con la coreografa Guilherme Botelho, leader della compagnia di ballo Alias, di base a Ginevra. Alcune composizioni realizzate per lo spettacolo “Contre-mondes” sono finite sulla prima, mentre quanto composto per la rappresentazione “Normal”, del 2018, sulla seconda. Il video di “Underwater Lament” è stato realizzato proprio con la compagnia di ballo Alias.
