Lucy e Rrose sono diventati i Lotus Eaters: in ascolto “Anchor”

The Lotus Eaters

Lucy e Rrose si mettono insieme a nome The Lotus Eaters. Entrambi a loro modo sono considerati due artisti techno a loro agio con la sperimentazione, entrambi poi gestiscono due etichette e infine entrambi sono considerati influenti sul loro genere.

Inizialmente si sono remixati a vicenda, poi Rrose ha cominciato ad apparire sulla Stroboscopic Artefacts di Lucy. Successivamente a Berlino hanno lavorato insieme, conservando i loro nomi di battaglia, a due ep intitolati proprio “The Lotus Eaters” (parte 1 e 2). Il 5 ottobre arriva finalmente l’esordio Desatura, ma non solo: i due si metteranno a suonare anche dal vivo.

In Desatura – scrive l’ufficio stampa – si esplorano i temi della densità, del vuoto e dello spazio, utilizzano strumentazione insolita rispetto a quella canonica per la techno.

Questa è “Anchor”, non a caso molto subacquea.
