Lali Puna: il video di “Being Water”, title-track del loro imminente nuovo ep

La chiamavano indietronica… Il 1° marzo 2019 Morr Music pubblicherà Being Water, nuovo ep dei tedeschi Lali Puna (oggi Valerie “Lali” Trebeljahr, Christan Heiss, Christoph Brandner) con dentro quattro tracce e un remix di “Wear My Heart” (in origine un pezzo di Two Windows, album del 2017) firmato da Dave DK (Kompakt, Pampa Records).

Secondo il comunicato stampa di Morr, “Being Water” deriva da questa citazione di Bruce Lee: “Be formless, shapeless, like water”. La storia però non è così semplice dato che Valerie avrebbe adottato questa frase dopo averla sentita nel video “Liquidity Inc.” dell’artista Hito Steyerl (anche lei di Monaco come i Lali Puna), che parla sì di arti marziali, ma anche di “liquidità” del capitalismo. E com’è la vita sotto il capitalismo? Da cani, sembra suggerire Cora Piantoni, regista del video di “Being Water”.
