Torna con questo One To Six il gruppo bergamasco, dopo il positivo Uwaga!. Le coordinate rimangono le medesime: r’n’r anfetaminico (ma non troppo) con una decisa direzione pop (e venato di rhythm and blues) e voce sguaiata il giusto (si ascolti “With Another Man”). “Don’t Tell Me Lies” azzecca la melodia portante, l’incedere però è sempre più o meno lo stesso di questo particolare “campo” (dimostrano di conoscerne a menadito la “grammatica”). La situazione si fa interessante quando le virate tex-mex si impossessano dell’articolata “Chocolate Band”, dal suono volutamente vintage, e con la convulsa “Drowning”, che spariglia cocciuta tra le restanti tracce con quel suo incedere dalla traiettoria volutamente sbandata. Fa lo stesso la successiva “No Food On My Table”, tra spirali chitarristiche nuggets-style e quell’armonica a bocca che tradisce lontane reminiscenze “sudiste”. È chiaro che stiamo parlando di un disco adatto agli appassionati del genere.
