I Dødheimsgard, con calma, arrivano al sesto album: Black Medium Current, programmato per il 14 aprile su Peaceville. Artwork spaziale firmato da Łukasz Jaszak.
Black Medium Current è stato registrato tra 2021 e 2022 e prodotto dal fondatore, il chitarrista Yusaf Parvez (Vicotnik). Vuole proseguire la strada aperta dal suo vastissimo predecessore A Umbra Omega otto anni fa.
I temi ricorrenti del disco sono l’autenticità e il libero arbitrio (in opposizione al determinismo), oltre che la responsabilità che deriva dal possedere un libero arbitrio.

La band ha anche pubblicato un brevissimo teaser del disco.
