Die Schachtel e la contemporaneità: due anteprime di alto profilo (Mussida e Di Domenico)

Decay Music è la “serie” che Die Schachtel dedica a dischi contemporanei di area sperimentale e ambient. Oggi vi facciamo ascoltare due anteprime. Una è un brano di Sandro Mussida, che su The New Noise non ha bisogno di presentazioni: Rueben, registrato nel 2018 presso la Chiesa di San Giusto a Volterra e ispirato dalla pittura rinascimentale italiana, esce il 19 febbraio. L’altra anticipazione proviene da Downtown Ethnic Music di Giovanni Di Domenico, pianista e compositore italiano cresciuto in Africa e oggi con base a Bruxelles: il disco abbonda di ospiti e possiede un sound caleidoscopico, che l’etichetta accosta ai nomi di Jon Hassell, Roberto Musci, Aktuala, Futuro Antico e Third Ear Band.
