È il primo disco dei Deadpressure dopo una serie di uscite a durata ridotta nel corso degli ultimi cinque anni: tredici pezzi che s’inseriscono senza grossi problemi valutativi nel filone powerviolence. I californiani cercano di imprimere la loro impronta personale tramite un suono pesante e compresso – poco hardcore e decisamente più “post” – e al contempo aumentando i momenti rallentati e dissonanti a sfavore di quelli frenetici e violenti. Sicuramente sono più vicini ai Brutal Truth delle ultime ere piuttosto che agli Infest o agli Spazz, anche in relazione alla voce. Lo ritengo un buon disco, anche se personalmente preferisco il lato più hardcore del powerviolence. Comunque, per chi ha questi riferimenti sonori nel sangue, l’acquisto darà soddisfazione.
