Questo pomeriggio Chelsea Wolfe ha annunciato l’uscita di Hiss Spun, il suo sesto album, previsto per il 22 settembre su Sargent House.

Hiss Spun è il successore di Abyss (2015) ed è stato registrato da Kurt Ballou dei Converge. Dice l’artista: I’m at odds with myself,. “I got tired of trying to disappear. The record became very personal in that way. I wanted to open up more, but also create my own reality.

Presente lungo tutto l’album il contributo chitarristico di Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age, Failure), compare inoltre Aaron Turner (Old Man Gloom, SUMAC) sul brano “Vex.”
