Caterina Barbieri: in ascolto una delle infinite re-incarnazioni di “Fantas”

Oggi Caterina Barbieri suona all’Atonal di Berlino, a dimostrazione del suo essere affermata a livello internazionale. “Fantas” è la traccia più conosciuta di Ecstatic Computation, uscito nel 2019 per Mego e ora da lei ristampato per la sua nuova etichetta light-years, con la quale ha pubblicato già Spirit Exit, successore di Ecstatic Computation. Esiste tra l’altro un altro disco per Mego, intitolato Fantas Variations, tutto intorno a rielaborazioni di questo pezzo. Ora è lei a proporre come singolo “Perennial Fantas”, che suona come se fosse stato scritto e arrangiato a più mani con Sigur Rós e Fennesz.
