Anthony Pateras a San Pietro Al Natisone (UD) nell’ambito di Forma – Free Music Impulse

Come sapete, siamo media partner di Forma e abbiamo intervistato quello che sarà il protagonista della serata di venerdì 5 ottobre presso lo SMO Center di San Pietro Al Natisone (UD) l’australiano Anthony Pateras.

Rispetto alla nostra intervista di un mese fa, sappiamo meglio il contenuto della performance: “This Ain’t My First Rodeo” prende spunto dalla frase della poetessa, saggista, insegnante e femminista statunitense Adrienne Rich: “All’inizio ogni nuovo apprendimento sembra caos”. Dice Pateras: “C’è una trasformazione in corso e non sono molto sicuro da dove provenga. Questo sembra essere lo stato ideale per un musicista per fare un buon lavoro: curiosità terrorizzata”. Si tratta di un progetto commissionato da dall’APRA AMCOS Art Music Fund in collaborazione con l’Australian Music Center.
