Alessandro “Asso” Stefana: il video di “Moonshiner” (ft. Roscoe Holcomb)

L’album di Stefana, che porta il suo nome, esce il 17 maggio per Ipecac ed è un mix di folk, blues, psichedelia e suggestioni cinematografiche. Non bastasse l’appoggio di Patton, la produttrice esecutiva del disco è addirittura PJ Harvey. Per chi conosce Stefana, la cosa non è sorprendente, viste le sue collaborazioni con l’uno (Mondo Cane, e non dimentichiamo che due album dei Guano Padano sono su Ipecac) e con l’altra (era nella band in tour a supporto di The Hope Six Demolition Project).

“Moonshiner” fa rivivere il banjoista e cantautore americano Roscoe Holcomb, scomparso nel 1981, grazie agli archivi di Smithsonian Folkways Recordings, l’etichetta no profit  della Smithsonian Institution di Washington.

Questa la tracklist di Alessandro “Asso” Stefana, così come su Bandcamp. Potrete così ascoltare anche “The House”, uscita nei giorni scorsi.
