TRACYA, The Abyss

Lo afferma il musicista stesso (di lui so solo che viene da Padova): The Abyss guides us into electronic resonances with trance-dream-like melodies and techno rhythmic patterns…, ed è proprio così. Una cassetta limitata a pochi esemplari che serve da esordio e per mettere sul piatto la passione per sonorità di matrice IDM, insomma di elettronica profonda e cerebrale, che ricorda oscuri fondali marini (“Thalassa”) e sempre melodica il giusto, seppur leggermente fuori fase, in “Primitive Odissey”. Questo The Abyss vuole in sostanza essere un “viaggio”, a volte più ritmato (“Sea Of Hands”), altre melodico e sognante (“World’s Copy”), ma la quadra si raggiunge nella melodia circolare della traccia presente nel secondo lato, “The World And Its Abyss”, che fa capire abbastanza bene il lavoro svolto sino ad ora da questo, credo giovane, producer. Certo, è solo un primo vagito, quindi si devono attendere altre opere compiute per farsi un’idea più precisa, ma le premesse non sono negative.
