Phurpa + Mare Di Dirac: un video

Quando vi abbiamo presentato i Mare Di Dirac in occasione di Fumes, abbiamo sottolineato la natura aperta del progetto, per cui non stupisce ritrovarli coinvolti in uno split coi russi Phurpa con cui si intrecciano per comporre un’unica lunga traccia dal forte sapore rituale e registrata al Superbudda Studio di Torino nel settembre 2015. L’idea di base era – parole degli autori – rievocare l’incontro tra antichi rituali e lo studio della fisica quantistica, basandosi sull’utilizzo di voci, strumenti acustici e oggetti in osso grazie ai quali dare vita a un mantra che prendesse il nome dal pugnale (la Misericordia, appunto) con cui nel passato si dava il colpo di grazia al nemico ferito così da evitargli inutili sofferenze.
