Melampus

Non è trascorso molto da Ode Road, ma Francesca Pizzo (voce magica ed ultraterrena) ed Angelo Casarrubia non hanno esaurito ispirazione e desiderio di conferire ulteriore sostanza al progetto Melampus. Citare i Dead Can Dance è utile per indicare un percorso, ma la peculiare capacità di composizione e una sorta di aggressività sommessa e primitiva rendono gli otto pezzi di questo disco personali e magnetici, dotati di una sintesi dark/noir che li rende apprezzabili tanto dai fan sfegatati del “genere”, quanto da chi si avvicini ad esso – e ai Melampus – senz’avere neanche mezza idea di ciò che ascolteranno. Un fantasma, dall’aura glaciale e sulfurea allo stesso tempo.
